I’d love it if there were also a re-check of artist standards for the babies, since while the majority of the current breeding artists are amazing, there’s some in each category that make people cringe. And well, if we’re paying so much money for the babies, the least you can assure is is that site-bred babies will have quality art, right? After all, user predicts is a privilege, not something added to keep us from having to suffer being assigned a mediocre artist, right?

A shit-ton of caviar is sold each year, but does that mean we all just pick some up at the store and wolf it down? No, it means that lots of rich people like to eat caviar. I’m sho sowwyyyy this makes anyone’s job harder, but look at the system right now. You pay 75$ for the ability to breed ONE baby. 25$ more and you could have a silver custom. Oh yeah and if there’s a mistake? Shell out more so you can fix that. what the FUCK is fair in that system? If I pay out seventy-five dollars for a 200X200 pixel image, that had better come without any mistakes, barring if the artists didn’t have the psd’s. Oh right, and if I want to pay more I can have predicts made so that the baby comes out right. Now you’re telling me that it’s too easy to get these. Yeah man it’s so easy, working up anywhere from seventy-five to about a silver crystal’s worth of real life money to afford everything and get the kind of offspring I want. Yeah sure! that’s pocket change. I mean the magical unicorn I ride on each day to work just shits that out in the morning, along with roses, sparkles, and peace in the world, BECAUSE CLEARLY I LIVE IN A FANTASY LAND.
You want to limit breedings? Here’s an idea, keep the bc’s in so that people who aren’t rich can get them, but limit the number of breedings each individual person can do in a specific length of time. The only people who are going to complain are the ones who COULD throw down the 75-whatever amount of money whenever they wanted. The people who are poor? They’re just glad that they’re going to be able to get in one breeding at all. The poor people are not the ones clogging up the BC system here, it’s the rich.
